SOLUTIONS FOR EDUCATION, CULTURE AND ART FACILITIES

The main purpose of the voice alarm system (VA) is to effectively warn the public of eminent danger thus allowing efficient evacuation. The warning and informative functions can be triggered automatically via the fire alarm system or manually using fireman microphones. The audible alarm system is designed to cover all areas of a building to reach its occupants in the event of an emergency.

More importantly, MULTIVES system can be successfully used to fulfil non-emergency functions i.e. it can provide standard public address system functionality. Thanks to its excellent audio setup, in normal conditions it can be used to address public for specific announcements (using either zone microphones or external sound sources) and/or to provide background music in venues such as shopping centres, sports halls etc.

MULTIVES can easily provide a professional sound system when designing independent loudspeaker lines within large conference rooms or lecture halls. A dedicated zone microphone can be used to broadcast messages; and external sound sources can be connected via in-built audio inputs.

Audio signals can be also transmitted directly to the central unit via relevant BGM amplifier channels connected to loudspeaker lines in the conference or lecture rooms.

  • Compliance with EN 54-16, EN54-4

  • up to 44 loudspeaker lines per Control Unit

  • Ability to simultaneously broadcasting nx 11 messages (n-number of CU)

  • Total amplifiers power of 1300 W

  • Cooperation with zone microphone ABT-DMS and ABT-M0x

  • TCP/IP network architecture

  • Up to 254 devices in the network with copper or fibre-optic wiring connection

MULTIVES FLEXIBLE TOPOLOGY

The main role of Voice Alarm System is the implementation of essential evacuation functions and communication of a threat occurrence. In normal conditions, Voice Alarm System fulfils the role of Public Address System and is able to broadcast music or public announcements using zone microphone or other connected to the system source of sound. Public Adress system for transport infrastructure enables broadcast of messages to selected platforms or other infrastructure of the train station in order to inform waiting passengers about any changes to the train schedule or any potential threat.

Integrated audio inputs in each Control Unit and each microphone allow connection of external sound sources and transmission of messages emanating from precedent external communication system.

Integrated message buffering function enables recording higher priority messages, broadcasting them through already engaged, by superior sources, loudspeakers and automatically playing them once the line becomes free.

miniVES

Equipping miniVES control units with communication cards enables connection of multiple industrial facilities into one system. Network cabling between control units made in the form of a fibre loop ensures that any damage of the cabling appearing in any place has no effect on the correct operation of the system.

Microphones located in the main building enable a transmission of verbal and/or automatic alerts to the selected speaker zones in all buildings.

Fireman’s microphone is a top-priority device, providing transmission of the alerts on threats to the people within all or selected buildings.

In case of fire emergency, receipt of control signals from Fire Alarm System or manual activation from the fireman’s microphone, the system sends alerts from the memory located in every miniVES control unit. Single devices operate as autonomous systems, ensuring continuous airing of the alerts on any threats, while total loss of the connection in a part of the systems takes place.

Speaker lines, within open areas, are connected to the central devices with certified surge arresters which ensure safety of devices in case of surges in speaker lines due to lightning discharge.
