Three days of training in Gdańsk: knowledge, practice and industry exchange

Training that connects theory with practice.

Three intensive days, one location and participants from across Poland. On‑site training in Gdańsk has for years been an important part of our activities — a place for gaining knowledge, but also for direct meetings, conversations and the exchange of experience within the industry.

The format remains unchanged: three days, three perspectives, one leading theme — safety and communication within buildings.

Day 1 – PAVA system design

The first day approaches the topic from a design perspective. The agenda includes the fundamentals of Voice Alarm System design, current fire safety regulations and their practical application in documentation.
Participants work with smartVES, miniVES and midiVES control units, review loudspeaker requirements and learn how to select solutions for specific types of facilities. Case studies, integration examples and design software illustrate how theory translates into everyday design practice.

Day 2 – Training for installers and contractors

The second day focuses on the work of PAVA installers and contractors. The training centres on hands‑on work with the smartVES system.
Configuration, programming, commissioning and diagnostics are discussed using real‑life examples. Typical service issues, common installation mistakes and proven ways to avoid them are addressed, with one goal in mind: working faster, more reliably and without unnecessary downtime.

Day 3 – Intercom systems in practice

The third day is dedicated to communication in facilities with increased security requirements. Intercom systems are analysed from both design and operational perspectives.
Participants learn about sound quality improvement mechanisms such as noise reduction and automatic volume control, as well as integration options with PAVA systems. The programme is complemented by software work and analysis of real application scenarios.

Three days in Gdańsk combine knowledge and practice with conversations that begin around system diagrams and end with experiences from real projects. An additional element is access to areas usually unavailable on a daily basis — such as an acoustic chamber — offering a different view of the technology.
