Six months, seven countries and one common theme: safety. A trade show review of H1 2026.
From Dubai and Bangkok to Birmingham, Amsterdam, Munich and Coventry, the first half of 2026 saw our flagship technologies – smartVES and intercom systems – take part in some of the most important events across the safety, transportation and critical communications sectors.
While each location had its own unique focus, one thing remained constant: the growing importance of reliable communication in public spaces and critical infrastructure. This was the central theme of discussions held during Intersec Global Dubai, Intertraffic Amsterdam, Asia Pacific Rail Bangkok, The Security Event Birmingham, SicherheitsExpo Munich, ISCVEx Coventry, and meetings with low-voltage system designers in Poland (SPIN).

Throughout these events, we showcased smartVES solutions for PAVA systems, IP intercoms and critical communications. More importantly, however, we engaged in conversations about the challenges currently shaping the industry: speech intelligibility in acoustically complex environments, safety in tunnels and public transport networks, digital supervision of PA systems, and regulatory requirements that increasingly influence the design of modern facilities.
A clear trend also emerged. Voice communication is no longer viewed as a standalone infrastructure component. Instead, it is becoming an integral part of broader systems responsible for safety, incident management and operational continuity.

The first six months of the year brought hundreds of conversations, dozens of technical meetings and many new perspectives. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit our stands, exchange experiences and share their expertise. These discussions demonstrate just how rapidly the safety and critical communications market continues to evolve.
